I wish I were a Tree

The idea developed while looking down a street completely devoid of any kind of real vegetation, and replacing the electric poles, banner poles, signs, and lights with trees. In reality these objects all carry with them very specic purposes to ensure our safety and create order. In addition to our need for safety and order we also need to remember the value of shade, clean air, protection from the elements and visual relief. We spend so much time devoid of nature in our “urban lives”; fighting for parking spaces, looking out oce windows, walking to the grocery store. Each of those experiences could be improved by simply adding trees to the equation
